IT Support Technician – Norwich/Loddon/Remote – £15,000 – £25,000 DOE + Company Van

 

We are on the lookout for a 1st and 2nd line IT professional to provide a range of IT support & digital services to our growing client base.

 

The role

The role is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will have some experience of working in a 1st and 2nd line IT support role in a fast-paced environment. You will be the first point of contact for all IT support enquiries from our customers this can be via email, service desk or over the phone. This is an extremely varied and interesting opportunity with scope to develop further within our business as you build your IT knowledge.

 

Main duties to include:

  • Answering inbound requests for support. Raising support tickets.
  • Providing 1st & 2nd Line Support.
  • Provisioning new desktops, PCs, and laptops to customer standards.
  • Support and configure client networks, AD, DC’s, RDP, DNS, DHCP, RDS, and VLANS. With the support of the wider IT team.
  • Manage 3rd party MS365 tenants – Moves, Adds & Changes.
  • Assist with web and domain name hosting changes and additional mailbox configuration.
  • Configure SPF, DKIM DMARC as required.
  • Provide simple user training on common Microsoft products such as Office 365 Suite, OneDrive, SharePoint, Windows.
  • Support customers existing fixed wire and wireless networks. Changes and amends to Ubiquiti, DrayTek and other vendor products.
  • Manage all customer IT assets via our RMM platform.
  • Updating website content via WordPress and other CMS platforms.

 

The person

 

  • A genuine interest in IT supporting and interacting with our customers.
  • Confident in the use, installation and support of Windows 10/11 Adobe, Office 365 products.
  • Good working knowledge of hardware such as laptops, tablets, printers and iPhones.
  • Experience of asset checks and support activities.
  • Used to undertaking work which requires high levels of attention to detail.
  • Experience of working under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Self motivated and ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Personable and professional with a desire to develop their skills.
  • IT/Computer science related qualification A level or equivalent or qualified through experience.
  • Full Clean UK Driving Licence.
